7. Cookies and Website Analytics

Our website uses Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics, provided by Google, to help us understand how visitors find and use the site and to measure how well our promotions are working. This tells us things like which pages are visited, roughly where visitors are located and which website, search or campaign brought them to us. It does not tell us who you are.

Google Analytics cookies are only set if you click “Accept” on our cookie banner. If you click “Reject”, or don’t make a choice, no analytics cookies are set, although Google may still receive limited information that doesn’t use cookies (for example, that a page was loaded), which it uses to estimate overall visitor numbers.

If you accept, the following cookies may be set:

• _ga and _ga_* (Google Analytics, up to 2 years): distinguish visitors and visits so we can count them.
• _gcl_* (Google, up to 90 days): measure whether visits from our promotions and adverts lead to bookings.

Your choice is remembered in your browser so we don’t ask on every page. You can change it at any time using the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page; rejecting after accepting removes these cookies.

Google processes this information in line with its own privacy policy, and it may be transferred outside the UK. Google explains how it uses information from websites like ours in its partner sites policy on the Google website.

Online bookings are handled by our booking provider, Timely, on its own booking pages, which may use cookies and analytics under Timely’s own privacy and cookie policies, including to let us know when a booking has been completed.

8. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, so we recommend checking it periodically.

Any changes will be posted in the latest version of this Privacy Policy. By continuing to use our services after changes have been made, you acknowledge the updated policy.
